Job History

 

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad 1990-2002: Crane Operator – loaded steel containers on and off train cars, double stacking them on rail cars.  Operated overhead gantry crane, operated side loader machine where steel containers were transported throughout the facility.  I operated industrial oversized fork lifts that also transported steel containers throughout the facility.

 

CSX Railroad (H & M International) 2002-2011: Crane Operator/Operations Manager –Crane Operator: loaded steel containers on and off train cars, double stacking them on rail cars.  Operated overhead gantry crane, operated side loader machine where steel containers were transported throughout the facility.  I operated industrial oversized fork lifts that also transported steel containers throughout the facility.  Operations Manager: I ran the railroad facility from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  Oversaw 60 employees.  My duties included getting inbound and outbound trains out of the facility on time.  Setting schedules.  Enforced safety rules.  Held safety meetings.  Worked hand in hand with steamship companies.
